Mission of Saints Peter & Paul Youth Ministry:

The mission of SS Peter and Paul high school ministries is to develop high school individuals spiritually, socially, intellectually into mature Christians practicing and sharing their Catholic faith, and to encourage and help youth build their faith in God through prayer, scripture, sacraments and community.

GOALS OF YOUTH MINISTRY

  1. Empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
  2. Drawing young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community.
  3. Fostering the personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

Current Religious Ed Families

with students in PK through High School

Our Religious Education Department would like to extend its Current Registration hours in order to work with our busy families schedules.

Drop in Registration for Current Families ONLY ** families with students currently enrolled in Religious Ed ** will be offered Wednesday Evenings from 5pm – 8pm, as well daytime drop in times are as follows:

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10am – 1pm

May 14th and 16

May 21st and 23rd

and

May 28th and 30th

 

Dates and times for New or Returning Families (not currently enrolled) to attend a Fair Ability Meeting will be:

Sunday May 19th from 7 -8pm

and

Wednesday May 29th from 7 -8pm

Registration for high school Faith Formation options begins by attending a Religious Education Registration Meeting. This registration process allows the religious education department to make appropriate plans for the number of participants, budgets and facilities. It also is an annual opportunity to communicate face-to-face with parents. All high school youth who have been registered through one of these meetings receive information about the various options available for the upcoming semester(s) and information about Class Enrollment Night, where youth can enroll in Faith Formation options, Discipleship Groups, and Service projects. SS. Peter & Paul Youth Ministry Service Options

Doing service is a part of what it means to be a practicing Catholic. The various service options offered help youth get in the habit of doing service and affirm their efforts to make a difference in the world. (Those preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation are expected to participate in service options both years. For information on the Confirmation Formation Process, click here.)
