The Women's Club at SS. Peter & Paul meets monthly from September through May. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. Our meetings are split among three main goals.
Our first goal is to be of service to our parish and community. We host a baby shower for Catholic Charities, make crafts for the school bazaar and Three Oaks Assisted Living, and host a soup supper dinner during Lent. We also make salads for the Community Meal, tie ribbons on the Christmas books, and stock a lending library for the PADS guests and host various receptions at our parish.
Our second goal is fellowship. We host social activities such as Bunco, an Autumn campfire and a cooking night. No agendas these evenings. Just a chance to talk and connect with other women.
Our third goal is to strengthen our faith. Our movie club and book club night focus on movies and books with strong moral values. The discussions offer an opportunity to learn more about how to live out the Gospel message in our everyday lives.
All women of the parish, 18 and over are invited to join us. Drop into meetings whenever possible and join the fun.
There are not activities scheduled in the summer. Thanks to all who joined us at our meetings and to everyone who helped with our various collections and events throughout the year. Our meetings with resume in September.
