Please come to the Spirit of Christmas work party on Saturday, December 3 from 8:30am - noon. We will be decorating our campus for Christmas!
You do not have to stay the entire time - any amount of time is appreciated. Many hands make light work!
Join us in the gathering space after the 8:00am Mass for donuts before we begin to work. Your time and talent is needed and appreciated!
Please note: This is a volunteer event and is not covered by the parish insurance. Any injuries that occur while volunteering would need to be covered by your own personal insurance.
Beginning in December, we will be adding First Friday Adoration. We will have adoration round the clock for 24 hours beginning after the 8am Mass on the first Friday and continuing until the 8am Mass on Saturday (except for during the 7:30pm Spanish Mass on Friday evenings). You are encouraged to come for any amount of time you would like. Please enter through the main doors until 9pm. After 9pm please use the south church door off of the parish center parking lot. Please knock and someone will open the door.
In order to keep the Lord company, we need sentries. Sentries are invited to register via Sign Up Genius. Click here to sign up. Adoration Sentries are requested to commit to one hour (during the same time slot) each month for a total of twelve hours for the year. SSPP Ministries and Groups, Married Couples & Their Families as well as Individuals are encouraged to commit to a time slot for the year. Thank you for spending time with Our Lord.

The 2016 SSPP Fall Gala has come to a close! We sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for attending!
We were so blessed to have had a beautiful fall evening at the Sanfilippo Estate to celebrate our Faith and Friendships together. We are grateful for our auctioneer, Brian Sager, who was a fabulous facilitator of the Live Auction and Paddle raise--the generous Silent and Live Auctions were spectacular as always! We are also grateful to Debra Strand for donating and creating all the beautiful flower centerpieces. A BIG thank you to all who donated to each auction and raffle – your support is deeply appreciated.
We want to thank our Gala Committee for their tireless work and dedication to make this Gala spectacular! Along with our Gala Co-Chairs Anne-Marie Morris and Lisa Glen.
We want to thank Father Beekman and Mrs. Strong for their dedication and support to the SS. Peter and Paul Community.
A final THANK YOU to ALL who attended the Gala making it a community builder while raising funds to benefit our parish and school. The amount raised will be published at a later date.

There will be a Memorial Mass for Msgr. Clausen with Fr. Paul White here at SS. Peter & Paul on Saturday, September 17th at 10:00am. A reception following the Mass will be in the gathering space.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process by which both unbaptized adults and those baptized in other Christian denominations learn about the Catholic faith and way of life. It is a spiritual formation process culminating with entry into the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil by celebrating the Sacraments of Christian Initiation: Baptism (if not previously baptized in a Christian denomination), Confirmation, and the Eucharist. RCIA continues during the Easter season with the Period of Mystagogy lasting until Pentecost.
The first session is Monday, September 26, 2016 in the Mgsr. Clausen Room at the Parish office from

Gala Numbers and News
Thank you to everyone that attended and supported our 6th Annual Fall Gala! All donations received became our amazing Silent Auctions, Live Auctions and Raffles.
This year we had 130 attendees and raised $53,682.50. minus $13,937.19 in expenses for a net of $39,745.00. We are very blessed to have such wonderful support to help benefit our SSPP campus! This year the funds raised will directly go to improve the technology at SSPP.
The planning for the 7th annual Fall Gala has already begun. It will be held on November 5, 2016 at the Sanfilippo Mansion, in Barrington. Mark your calendars now; it is an event you won’t want to miss!
We are currently seeking additional individuals who can help us with the planning of this wonderful event. If you are interested in assisting us, please contact us as soon as possible.
